Connecting Water to FreshWash
|
The
steps below describe how to connect FreshWash to the existing plumbing
fixtures in the bathroom. DLX 201 needs only a cold water source,
which may be either at the wash basin water intake or the toilet intake.
DLX 301 also requires connection to the wash basin's hot water intake.
Note- The hot and cold water connections are the same unless
the cold water comes from the toilet water supply.
TEFLON
tape is strongly recommended to prevent leakage wherever nuts and
bolts are applied.
|
| Step
1: |
Close
the cold/hot shut off valve, which is connected to either the toilet
water supply or the wash basin. |
| Step
2: |
If
the existing pipe (1) is not flexible, then replace it with the flexible
pipe provided. |
| Step
3: |
Insert
the rubber washer (3) into T-joint (2). |
| Step
4: |
If
the metal pipe (5) is smaller than the size of T-joint (2), then insert
the optional adaptor (4) into T-joint (2). |
| Step
5: |
Screw
T-joint (2), or the optional adapter (4) onto the metal pipe connection
(5). |
| Step
6: |
Cut
the plastic tube (water line) to the appropriate length to connect
the T-joint (2) and the water inlet of the FreshWash body. |
| Step
7: |
Slip
on of the plastic tube rings (6) onto the plastic tube and attach
the tube to T-joint (2). |
| Step
8: |
Slip
the other plastic tube nut (D) onto other end of the plastic tube.
Attach and tighten the tube to the FreshWash body (C). |
| Step
9: |
(For DLX 301 only) Follow above procedure for the hot water line installation. |
| |
|
FreshWash Installation |
| The
steps below describe the installation of the FreshWash unit on the
toilet. |
| Step
1: |
Remove
the toilet seat by unfastening the nuts which hold it in place. |
| Step
2: |
Insert
two connection loops (B) (either long or short length as appropriate)
at the rear of the FreshWash body and fasten them loosely with plastic
screws (E) applied at the top of the FreshWash unit. |
| Step
3: |
Center
the nozzles over the toilet bowl and adjust the loops (B) so the openings
fit over the toilet bolt holes. Tighten loosened plastic screws (E)
firmly. |
| Step
4: |
Insert
the plastic over (F) over screws (E) for protection. |
| Step
5: |
Place
FreshWash in position as shown in the illustration (Nozzles point
down in stand-by position.) |
| Step
6: |
Place
the toilet seat over FreshWash and insert the bolts of the toilet
seat through holes of the connection loops(B) and holes in the toilet
bowl(A), and tighten nuts firmly. |
| Step
7: |
Open
the cold water intake valve slowly to check that there are no leaks. |
| |
|
| You
may now test the operation of FreshWash. |
