1. What is FreshWash?
	FreshWash is a revolutionary toilet attachment, which allows the user to enjoy the thorough hands-free cleaning of intimate areas while reducing the risk of urinary infection. 	Yes. There are child-safe mechanisms to prevent unsupervised toddlers from playing with the water features. Electronic models have automatic shutoff devices in case of malfunction and carry the Underwriter Labs seal of approval.

6. How easy is it to install a FreshWash unit?
	It is not too hard for a normal installation, and a plumber should not be required. FreshWash connects to the existing water intake supply on the toilet and is designed to fit with most widely-used toilet types. Installation usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes depending on the existing plumbing situation. (Some old houses may need some additional plumbing work and wiring for the electronic controls on LUX models.)



7. What is needed for installation of a FreshWash unit?
	The current toilet shutoff valve must be operational, so that water to the toilet may be cut off for installation. For the DLX 301 model, the warm water sink shutoff valve should also be working. The LUX models with electronic controls require a nearby FGCI outlet and should only be installed in well-ventilated locations to avoid excess humidity damaging the controls.



8. Do I need to replace the toilet bowl to install FreshWash?
	No. DLX models are inserted between the existing toilet bowl and the toilet seat. LUX models replace the existing toilet seat and leave the rest of the toilet in place.



9. Is FreshWash child-safe?
	Yes. We recommend LUX 600/ 800/ 811 for families with small children, since a weight sensor prevents their operation unless there is sufficient weight on the seat. With DLX models, water may be shutoff to the unit by closing the intake valve to prevent children from playing with it or using it inappropriately.



10. What are the differences between the Family nozzle and the
	Female nozzle?
	The Family nozzle is for anal-area cleaning for everyone. The Female nozzle (also known as the bidet nozzle) is primarily for feminine hygiene but may also be used by everyone for massage.

13. What is a bidet?
	A bidet is a personal hygiene fixture which uses water for genital and perineal cleansing. The traditional version is a low-set fixture typically installed next to the toilet in the bathroom. FreshWash, which has an innovative and advanced bidet functions, upgrades the existing toilet so that minimal plumbing and no additional space is required and the user may remain seated at one fixture.



14. Who should use FreshWash?
	FreshWash is appropriate for everyone in the family old enough to use the toilet independently. It provides efficient cleaning and improved hygiene for those of all ages, while greatly helping the elderly or handicapped with their personal hygiene. Everyone will benefit from its soothing water massage but those with hemorrhoids or constipation will especially appreciate its benefits.



15. What are its benefits?
	FreshWash provides better more thorough cleaning than toilet paper with less risk of spreading germs. 18. What is the warranty and expected product life?
	There is a 2-year warranty on parts. The life of our FreshWash varies with water conditions and usage. Usually, it will last 7 to 10 years without problems if the water condition is good.



19. How do I adjust the water temperature?
	For DLX 301, turn the temperature knob to the RIGHT for warmer water, to the LEFT for colder. For LUX models, press the water temperature control button until it reaches the desired temperature.



20. Is there a water filter?
	Yes, for the LUX 800/ 811. The ultra bacteria-free water filter will purify the tap water for the best clean and therapeutic result. No, for all other models. FreshWash works well with normal water conditions. If the water is excessively "hard" with a high chemical content, we recommend that the user to install a water softener if possible.



21. Do I need an electrical outlet near the toilet to install the unit?
	Yes, for all LUX models. A grounded outlet with at least 10 Amps within the reach of the unit's power cord is ideal. No electricity is required for DLX 201/ 301.



22. Does FreshWash have a seat warmer?
	DLX 201/ 301 and DLX 511 do not have a seat warmer. LUX 600/ 711/ 800/ 811 have a seat warmer.



23. How many nozzles dose FreshWash have?
	DLX 201/ 301: 2 fixed nozzles LUX 511: 2 moving nozzles LUX 600: 1 moving nozzle LUX 711/ 800/ 811: 2 moving nozzles (These models have a superior version of the female/ bidet nozzle). The two-nozzle models are designed to provide separate cleaning nozzles for the anal area and for feminine hygiene.
